- Concepted and produced stop-motion video, combining both live-action photography and illustrated animation, to tell the brand story of a local nonprofit that delivers children's mental healthcare in SW Washington.
- Led UX/UI creation of cross-platform (responsive) Blog for long time client breaking into the B2C space with a new product offering.
- Designed suite of infographics to quickly convey complex findings of a study conducted by an Inc. 500 company.
- Launched Privilege for Good a website aggragating practical, actionable, "how-to" style solutions for individuals wishing to combat homophobia, xenophobia, racism and sexism in daily life.
- Slurped Pho for breakfast on the streets of Vietnam. Ate bignets with chicory coffee in the French Quarter, strolled along the bayou and grooved to jazz on Frenchman Street. Learned to two-step on the dancefloor in Austin. Set and broke multiple personal-bests rock climbing at Smith Rock State Park. Rappelled off a 20-story building in downtown Portland in support of Girls Inc.
2015
- Led the creation of a new consumer-facing brand — from concept through execution — for long-time client and fastest-growing leader in identity protection.
- Facilitated a Voice & Tone discovery workshop based around the design thinking methodology for the Oregon wing of a national nonprofit organization. We then brought the brand voice to life through a customizable suite of high-impact collateral pieces.
- Designed and built an iPad-friendly interactive quoting tool to help a long-time client's sales reps be more efficient and impactful in the field.
- Launched one of the millions of paper lanterns that fill the sky at the Yi Peng festival in Thailand. Hiked through thousand-year-old rice terraces in the Philippines. Watched a massive sea turtle lay her eggs by moonlight on the beach in Indonesia. Rang in the New Year watching fireworks over the Mekong River in Laos.
2014
- Designed a user experience (UX) and interactive wireframes to help a local banking legend (often called the "World's Greatest Bank") revolutionize the way people shop for banking products.
- Led a complete collateral redesign for a long-time client to support the rollout of a visual re-branding effort. From sales sheets to landing pages to trade show booths — they're looking sharper than ever.
- Launched integrated content marketing campaign for the same long-time client, centered around a sales-driving interactive download (which was also designed and produced by yours truly.)
- Volunteered for three months in Izmir, Turkey helping university students acquire interview skills, job readiness training, and improve their English language abilities.
2013
- Facilitated 2014 Marketing Plan development for Portland-based software company, using Design Thinking methodology to effectively identified goals and obstacles, assess past and current efforts, explore new directions, distill findings, and set a measurable path for the year ahead — right down to quarterly action item assignments and deadlines.
- Planned and launched integrated creative marketing campaign for Inc. 500 company.
- Concepted and designed integrated event marketing experience, including 40-foot trade show booth, pre-marketing email campaign, entertainment advertisement, and post-event followup.
- Wrote and designed a suite of print and digital marketing materials to help a long-time client roll out a new product offering.
- Drove 3,673.5 miles through eight states in 18 days — by myself — camping, climbing and hiking the whole way.

- Served as chief copywriter for Delta Dental of Illinois and Acute Care, the latter of which I helped win in a new business pitch.
- Developed and promoted summer internship program resulting in 277 applications from students across the country during its inaugural run.
- Spearheaded a complete overhaul of agency’s website, developing copy and imagery, overseeing site functionality and coordinating portfolio logistics.
- Contributed copy, concepts, tactics, and design executions to a range of projects for clients within the food, agriculture, and health industries.
- Earned over 9% compensation increase and $5,000 in merit-based bonuses, due to personal productivity and contributions to the agency.
- Awarded Bravery Award by account team member for can-do attitude, flexibility and hard-working nature.

- Drew on internship experience to bring added expertise as copy editor for Jamaican destination wedding guidebook.
